The installer of your choice will need to come and measure your bathroom, hallway openings and bathroom door to determine which size of walk in tub you will require. All estimates and consulations should be free of charge and without obligation! If you choose to purchase a walk in tub with hydrotherapy, your contractor will need to be prepared to have two dedicated 15 amp circuits and need to provide a GFI outlet for the pump.

What Do I Need To Know Before Ordering My Tub?
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009There are a few details that you must sort out prior to ordering your walkin tub. Remain Active has made the ordering process as simple as possible. A few details are listed below for your consideration.
1.Choose which size of tub (31×51x37 or 28×48x38) will best meet your needs and the space you have allocated
2. Measure all the doors that your selected tub will need to come through. You may have to remove casing around your door jambs.
3. All tubs excluding the Prelude Soaker will require two dedicated 20 amp circuits; The Encore will require 3 dedicated circuits
4.Tubs come with optional left or right handed models. You will need to know which side you need prior to ordering your unit.
5. An approximate 10 day lead time for production and an additional 3 day transit time needs to be to taken into consideration when ordering your tub. We offer expedited shipping.
6. When choosing an installer be sure to check his references, call your local chapter of BBB and make sure your contractor is licensed and insured. Get a signed contract before paying a deposit on your tubs installation. Make sure all the details are in writing including the payment installments.
