handicap tub is 5 ft long allowing you to stretch out and relax, fully immersed in water. The easily accessible design makes the bathtub easily retrofitted into your home, helping you create a safe, functional handicap bathroom for the elderly or those with disabilities.
The fully wheel chair accessible Aquassure is designed for ease of use for wheelchair users who can do a seat-to-seat transfer, or for those who require more assistance with a wheeled lift. The Aquassure is not only a favorite of clients, but of their caretakers too, because our tub reduces straining and bending for caregivers.
Easy To Use Without The
Need of a Transfer Bench!
Simply sit down in the doorway, as in a chair. Slide back as if you are getting into bed. Your legs can slide in without any strain or bending. Use the handy grab bars to help slide backwards. Slide the door shut- it seals by itself. You are now ready to fill the tub and enjoy.
FEATURES: The Aquassure is built on a raised cabinet- allowing the bather to easily sit, transfer or slide into the
handicap bathtub. Hydrotherapy options include your choice of water or jets or a combination massage. The benefits of hydrotherapy are innumerable; people with circulatory disorders, related to diabetes, strokes, multiple sclerosis, Reynaud’s syndrome, bed sores, etc. benefit from increased circulation resulting from immersion in water; these benefits can be increased by the use of air and/or water jets or manual massage by a care giver. The movement and buoyancy of water greatly improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the nervous system which can calm the heart, lungs and stomach, improving both hormonal and immune systems. Hydrostatic pressure from immersion has been proven to have health benefits for centuries. Stiff joints are loosened and tense muscles are eased after time spent relaxing in a bathtub full of warm water.
OPTIONS: Customers have a choice of a quality gel-coat fiberglass in soft white, biscuit or almond at no extra charge. Our bathtubs come in a white melamine cabinet base, but wood veneers in oak, maple and bamboo are available with a wide range of stain options. Aquassure’s premium molded, foam pillows come in a choice of colors. The pillows are shaped to cradle and support a weary head and neck.
Grab bars help you maneuver in and out of the bathtub in safety and comfort. Aquassure bathtubs include four pre-installed grab bars at just the right height.
An extender handle is available as an
optional add-on. The extender handle is
designed for people who have difficulty
reaching the door handle and clamps to
the door handle with 2 allen screws. The
retail price of the extender handle is
$50.
Three In One Bath
Heater
This bath heater is
a 3-in-1:infrared lamp heater, exhaust
fan, & Light. Be comfortable iwth
instant heating by four powerful
infrared heat lamps. The long-life ball
bearing motor emits very low noise and
has a slim bopdy design for easy
installation. Measures 15"x15" and has
UL, CUL, SAA, CE & KS certifications.
VALVES:
The Aquassure comes with
ADA compliant chrome fixtures which are
placed within easy reach of caregivers and
the bather. The fixtures are factory
installed and comes with a 5" flex hose to
hook up existing hot and cold water lines. A
brushed nickel fixture is available as an
optional upgrade.
All Aquassure
handicap bathtubs include a ¾” hi-flow thermostatic temperature control anti-scald safety valve.
The anti-scald valve is a must have for
customers who don't have feeling in their
lower extremities. The valve protects the
bather from burning themselves with
hotwater.
